Rodney Jones - Managing Member

For 23 years Mr. Jones was in the private practice of law handling business matters nationwide for domestic and international clients ranging from structuring business transactions to dispute resolution. He has substantial experience with all phases of commercial and government construction. Subsequently, Mr. Jones was Vice-president and General Counsel of a two billion dollar international manufacturing business for a period of seven years where he had primary responsibility for all contract negotiations, business relationship and financial security arrangements, intellectual property management, environmental and other regulatory compliance and all government affairs activities. In that capacity he also structured over 60 million dollars of capital contracts annually.

Mr. Jones holds a business administration degree from the University of Kentucky and a law degree from Emory University in Atlanta. Mr. Jones is responsible for all of the contract, business structure, tax, licensing, regulatory compliance and corporate governance requirements of the LLC.


Mark Barteaux - Operations Manager

Mr. Barteaux served in the US Navy as a qualified Nuclear Reactor Operator and Shut-Down Reactor Operator. Demonstrating excellent knowledge and proficiency in nuclear power plant operations, he was selected for staff duty by his commanding officer upon graduating number one from his Naval Nuclear Power Training Unit. Mr. Barteaux attended advanced training classes for instructors of nuclear power plant theory, nuclear physics, electrical and electronics theory, heat transfer and fluid flow, thermodynamics, plant chemistry, mechanical systems and related subjects.

Mr. Barteaux was also selected to attend Naval Electronics Technician Maintenance School where he graduated first in his class and received the additional NEC designation. After a distinguished naval career, Mr. Barteaux moved home to his beloved state of Montana to raise his family in his own home town. There he started, owned and operated a heavy civil and highway construction business for nearly twenty years. Mr. Barteaux now directs operations of G2 Energy, LLC and all of their LFGTE power plants. He is responsible for all aspects of operations and maintenance of the plants.


John (Toby) Prehn - Managing Member

Over the last 20+ years, Toby has been a pioneer in the specialty finance industry, launching and operating 12 companies with his partners in multiple asset classes. These companies have targeted auto loans and leases, distressed debt, aviation loans, credit cards, commercial real estate lending, franchise lending, micro-equipment leasing and even Japanese debt instruments. The companies owned by Toby and his business partners were the first in the United States to complete asset securitizations for auto leases, private jet loans, and micro-ticket leases. Among their many successes was Commercial Lending Corporation which originated franchise and small business loans totaling over $1.9 billion.

In addition to G2 Energy, Toby and his partners currently own companies in the manufacturing, construction, hospitality, multi-family housing and finance industries and were honored to have consulted with Senate Finance Committee, Federal Reserve and Treasury Department on TARP and EESA programs. Mr. Prehn received a BS in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley.
